Tropical Island Restaurant, located in Boynton Beach, Florida, offers a delightful journey into Haitian cuisine. Patrons rave about the restaurant’s authentic dishes that are as flavorful as they are beautifully presented. Among the highlights, the 10 Wings Combo stands out, marinated with Caribbean herbs and served with sides like plantains and a selection of rice options. Guests have commented on the wings' crispiness and rich taste, calling them contenders against even the most popular Buffalo-style wings.
Breakfast selections such as Banann A Fwa (boiled plantain with beef liver) and the hearty Mais Moulin (grits options) also receive high praise, offering a true taste of Haitian comfort. The vibrant atmosphere complements the delicious meals, with customers appreciating the cleanliness and modern decor of the space.
A warm and attentive staff supports the dining experience, with customers noting that their orders are treated with care and dedication. Feedback such as that from Dennis Hulsey reflects the love and passion embedded in the cooking. Overall, Tropical Island Restaurant promises a welcoming experience filled with bold flavors and excellent customer service, making it a must-visit for lovers of Caribbean food.

Everything here at this modest place was amazing! The best food I have ever eaten! The lady who took our order was so kind and helpful! I like it hot! My wife and I will be back!

Hey I am leaving a 5 happy stars review here for this Haitian Restaurant. On my way from West palm beach with my family, we were all very hungry and we decided to ask Google for a Haitian restaurant, this was the close one to us at the moment. I am telling you The food is very good and well presented , cleaned and spacious dining room. No dirty clogged toilets, they have separate toilets for men and women and very clean. And there is variety in the menu also. The only thing I didn’t like is that, after placing my orders I found out they have “Lalo” in the Menu and I decided to by an extra plate just to enjoy the “LaLo” unfortunately when I open the cup I found a big piece of meat with maybe just one spoon of “Lalo”.

Quaint little restaurant in Boynton Beach. Very popular and very busy. The fried snapper was huge and awesome. Friendly staff and good food. So if you are in search of Haitian or Caribbean food check them out. The are located on Boynton Beach Blvd, just before Dixie. I had a great experience.

We put in 3 different orders in. The food was delicious! We could taste the right amount of season, there was true love put into the food as they cook it, the meats didn’t have lots of fat in it. Great portions! The restaurant is more on the modern side and colorful colors with an accent black geometric 2D wall that definitely stand out, the kitchen area is open and you are able to see it, the area is clean, customer services was great, the lovely lady came in check on us. We travel from a different state and we definitely we will be back!

Close to my home. Taste close to home for two of my aides. One from Jamaica. One from Haiti. Both reccomend Goat stew as fell and broke both upper and lower appliances. I look like walrus and ate goat like one as well. Goat was soft, spicy and spectacular. Enjoyed sides of plantains, salad and of course red beans and rice.

Listen. If you go there and that they are just pumping out individual hot meals, you are delusional. If you make it home, put it in the microwave with the sauce. Oh ma lordt! My whole family has been eating here for years, since they had the OG location. Now I’m having my first child and doing little dances in the break room because I love the food and it’s STILL affordable. Used to keep my family alive. Now it’s carrying me through my first pregnancy. A real problem though: why are the pikliz savory? It’s not hot anymore or maybe it is and my tongue is just broken idk
